The restoration of these water bodies marks a significant endeavour to revive and conserve these crucial water bodies. These traditional water bodies, hold immense ecological importance, supporting biodiversity, groundwater recharge, and providing a source of water for various purposes. Recognizing the deteriorating condition of the water bodies and the need for its preservation, efforts were undertaken by the KKPA to restore and revive the water bodies, ensuring its sustainable existence for the benefit of the local community and the environment.
The collective endeavour, for water body rejuvenation for which the KKPA has always been striving and continues to strive, aims to reverse the degradation of the water bodies, enhance its ecological value, and create a vibrant ecosystem that fosters biodiversity and ecological balance in all its areas of presence.
